So, there you go – by following and mastering the aforementioned tips, you can improve the chances of drawing the attention of your target learners and be popular among them in quick time. If you are not sure how to go about it, consider getting professional assistance instead.

This will allow you to find out if their videos establish a bond or coherence between the requirements of a brand and its viewers. When you go through the samples of a company, do not forget to pay attention to the details of their work.

Additionally, also make a point of taking the following points into consideration to come up with an important decision regarding whether you would like to choose an animation company in Bangalore or not.

The Animation: Ascertain it on your own that the videos are clear with comprehensible graphics and pleasing design. For motion graphics, it is imperative that you choose only those drawings that are both attractive and modern.

The Voiceover: If possible, go for only those voiceovers that involve the voice of a professional speaker who reflects the right command of tone for a particular genre.

Communication and Customer Service: Even as you come across a company with good products at an affordable price tag, make sure that it is equally good in terms of communication and customer service to get an amicable solution to various product or service related issues.

Authentic Reviews: You can learn a lot about the quality of services offered by a company by virtue of the reviews of its previous clients and customers. When you do so, beware of fake reviews. Only go for the ones that are posted on credible websites.

Coherence and Responsibility: One of the highlights of a genuine company is that its staff members would know a thing or two about being responsible and handle desperate requests. The staff members of such companies would not hesitate in making positive recommendations and apprise its clients of what it can or cannot do depending on the deadline and requirements of clients.

Cost-effectiveness: Companies offer different rate plans to clients based on the needs of the latter. Before you make a final call in choosing the services or package of one company over the other, do not forget to consider your budget and affordability.

By making the aforementioned considerations while choosing an animation studio or an animation video production studio – Bangalore, India, you can rest assured that you will never go wrong with your choice.

Different Kinds of Videos to Promote Startups and other Businesses– 2D Animation Videos
2D animation is one of the most traditional methods of animation where character movement is basically created in two dimensions. Here, images are manipulated and can move left, right, up and down. Basically, they are made on a flat background generally with the use of line art. However the objects can only move along X-axis or Y-axis. In contrast to 3D animation, they do not move away or towards the viewers. It requires specialized artistic experience, creativity and technological skills to create amazing 2D animated content. It basically focuses on creating interesting characters, backgrounds, and storyboards in any two-dimensional artistic environment to narrate a story or inform the audience. 2D animation has all gone digital and is created effectively with software such as Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Flash, Encore etc.
  • 2.5 D Animation Videos
2.5D animation basically means to move 2D objects in a 3D environment. It is a clever way of making two-dimensional objects appear as three-dimensional. When shadows are added to 2D objects or a 2D ball is turned fluidly, it generally appears as 2.5D animation; here a three-dimensional environment is being created around a two-dimensional object. Professionals add excellent motion elements with shadows to showcase an ingenious way of giving a three-dimensional feel to the animated video. It generally enhances the videos and motion elements that ask for more investment of time and money. Developers use Adobe After Effects to create wonderful motion elements of 2D objects in 3D environments. For a start up video, 2.5D animations can add value to the subject and create a powerful impact on the audience. 2.5D animations always have a fresh look because of their rarity in the market, as in very few production companies generate 2.5D animated content.

These animations always create confusion about depth in the mind of the viewer which adds interactivity due to its odd and different nature. 2.5D Animations are created in 3D software like Maya, 3ds Max and Cinema4d and then rendered in Toon style to achieve the final result. For someone trying to launch a media campaign, creating an Advertisement with 2.5D animation can always add an edge of uniqueness to your product/company. The only thing to be aware is that 2.5D animations can only be executed by an artist with a good amount of experience in the field of animation; thus the costs are more than 2D animation or Typography in general. - See more at: http://vfxindia.in/2014/05/13/types-of-explainer-videos/#sthash.RhPfqIuI.dpuf
  • 3D Animation Videos

Big companies often and mostly always opt for 3D animation because if done properly it can turn out to be the most reliable form of marketing for any product in the world. This type animation is best for Titling in Studio ventures and even brand name based marketing. Product mock-ups are the specialty of 3D animation and it helps to view the dimensions of the product to the viewer/consumers in real-world perspective. The best example for 3D animations utilized for marketing is food products. The only type of animation that is capable of making anything look tasty and attractive as well as being beautiful and animated at the same time is 3D animation. The software typically used for 3D animation are Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema4d, Blender and Softimage XSI. For new startups, 3D animation can cost you a little more but if the budget permits, it could surely be the best way to move forward live action.

This type is the most used type of video worldwide for marketing due its simplicity. The only downside for this type of advertisement is that the Live Action VFX needs a full-fledged studio for proper production. Thus the cost will bump higher because the amount of people involved will be more and thus the client should be extremely sure about his product of what he is trying achieve. Live Action shots generally take a lot of time as well because there are a lot of things to consider such as pre-planning and story boarding. Script and dialogue will have to be spot on to invoke the right of emotion; and the VFX has to seem real in order to make it believable, which generally cause the main problems and thus create time delay.

How animation has never failed to grab attention

Do you ever amazed where animation came from and where is it headed. There is no archaeological journey needed, we will bring it to you.

Well basically, animation is display of graphics in rapid succession to form a video. You click pictures or make paintings in successive movement and put them on slideshow at a suitable speed, that’s it. It’s so easy to understand but is it that easy to make? Animation has been a time consuming process even after the introduction of CGI-Computer Graphic Interface. It has mostly been successful in capturing attention because there is always something new happening to the technology. If we have a look at how animation has evolved from paper cut outs to CGI based animation we will realize that this field of entertainment always had something new to offer to the customers.

In 1918 the first animated feature film El Apóstol was launched. It was an Argentine silent film made by Quirino Cristiani which we cannot watch today because its lost.

In 1926 the German animated feature film The Adventures of Prince Achmed was made by Lotte Reiniger. It is the oldest animated feature film which is available today. Reiniger’s this film is silent and made with the help of paper cutouts. Her art style, which was similar to Ravana Chhaya and Chinese shadow puppet show, was different than other animators of her time and that made her stand out. By the way, that is a check with a queen.

Meanwhile 1920s in USA, Walt Disney, probably the only animator you know (apologies if we just underestimated you) and his business partner Iwerks were struggling as animators. Disney’s Laugh-O-Grams could not provide him enough income and due to some affairs he ended up moving to Hollywood even though most of the cartoon industry was settled in New York. There, he was lucky to find a suitable distributor for Alice’s Wonderland.

There was nothing that was stopping Disney now and his brain was craving for improvement and that attend to the production of the first sound and color animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937.

These were not the only forms of animation. Stop motion animation existed and was being enjoyed too. The technique was basic. It was a series of graphics in succession of physical objects in the physical world. Toys and clay sculptures were used for this.

The above gif is from Pingu, an example of stop motion clay animation. It was composed from 1986 to 2000 for Swiss television. Later its distribution got wide and that is why you might be familiar to it. Noot Noot.

Things got even better when computer animation was introduced. Experimental clips and computer generated experimental graphics were produced and finally the first computer generated 3D animated movie was made by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures in 1995. It was called Toy Story. Since then improvements and updates in CGI- Computer graphics Interface animation does not seem to have an end. Even minute details are being taken care of by big production houses for making it look as realistic as it can.

Merida‘s hair in the movie Brave took approximately three years to look like it did. It turned out to be beautiful know? These drastic improvements in the technology are making us expect more and more from this technique and we might actually end up with totally generic animated works in future. Loads of studios today are involved in 3D animation including our organization Visual Connections.

Why Explainer Videos Work

An explainer video is a short, fun and instructional video that helps viewers known how a company’s product or service can help them.
They are not just instructional but also entertaining. However, why are a significant number of businesses rush to make explainer videos? Well because the effectiveness of these explainer videos in the ecommerce and retail space is well documented and their ability to advertise websites and apps.

Video is conceivable the most powerful of all online media choices we have today for persuasion. Let us try taking a glance under the hood of explainer videos and why they work.

2D/3D Animated Explainer Video production

They Grab Attention Quickly: In these day and age where quick satisfaction is the norm, reading walls of text can often be annoying to consumers and scares away potential consumers who want a quick understanding of what your product or service is about. A good animated explainer video is short, simple and uses straightforward language. The average user spends about 10-20 seconds on a site if there is no fascinating reason to stay longer. And the first ten seconds are critical for giving the user a reason to stay by clearly setting out your value position. Having such a short period of time, you cannot rely only on text and graphic ways to attract their attention. And since video allows people to obtain more information in less time compared to reading, you get a great chance to win these critical 10 seconds and capture viewers’ attention. Video also increases average visit time to 2 minutes.

They Express Your Information Clearly: Text can be complex since there are so many ways people can clarify what they read. Animated Explainer videos allow no room for theory and give promising users of your product or service information on the purpose of your product or service. Consumers are also more informed and would like to have a relationship with the product or service or brand. It is important that a consumer can put a face to your name. This is especially true for online businesses where the consumer will have little, if any contact with you directly. It also showcases your brands unique personality. Thereby allowing you to create a relationship with your customers.

They Almost Market Themselves: Brands now choose to spread the word about their product or service through social signals. And explainer videos are not necessarily confined to your site. Video hosting sites such as YouTube and Vimeo have useful tools that allow you to upload your videos and use keywords to draw interest to them. Videos are also 100% user friendly of any device, the added bonus to using these sites is that they are smart phone compatible, whereas your site may not be viewable on handsets. Videos are easily shareable, unlike text web pages, and people are more likely to share and watch videos on the internet than read plenty of text on a website.

Infomercial is the new way to attract the attention of your viewers and to stay memorable in their minds when they are flooded by information every minute. A well-produced video for business with a solid script and engaging graphics can capture the attention of your visitors immediately. So what are you waiting for? If you have a product or service, you would like to draw attention to, then make a engaging animated explainer video.

How VFX is used in movies?

You might have seen movies with great visual effects and heard people say “The visual effects were incredible!”, but what exactly are VFX and how do they work? In this post, I am going to give you a rough analysis of the possibilities that visual effects can offer, then we will go into more detail in the next posts.
According to VEX Directory:
Visual effects - commonly shortened to Visual FX or VFX, is the concept used to describe any imagery created, or enhanced for a film or other moving media that cannot be adept during live action shooting. In other words, much of the art of VFX takes place in post-production, after primary image capture is complete. VFX can be added to live-action, captured through techniques such as matte painting, rear and front-screen projection, miniature or forced perspective sets, computer graphic objects, characters, and environments, compositing of images recorded in any number of ways. The recent explosion in digital tools that make perfect compositing, digital sets and fully computer-generated characters possible and accessible to moving image makers at all levels has made VFX a standard part of every moving image maker’s tool kit.

Wikipedia says:
“VFX involve the integration of live-action footage and generated imagery to create environments which look realistic, but would be expensive or simply impossible to capture on film. VFX- Visual effects using computer generated imagery has recently become accessible to the Independent filmmaker with the introduction of affordable animation and compositing software.

So basically, anything that is difficult for movie then we use visual effects to achieve it. For example, aliens attacking the earth is impossible to movie so we use VFX for all the alien creatures to destroy the city. This is a very undoubtedly example of visual effects. A lot of time we use VFX in more subtle areas. For example, if there is a scene in the story that needs to be in another country, an imaginary location or a city in the future or past. It is just inefficiency to go to another country or build a set. VFX in these situation are really helpful.

A lot of visual effects examples will be discussed in the future posts. Here we just need to have a rough concept of what visual effects is about and why we use it for Movies. We hope you enjoyed this post and please feel free to leave us any comments and for more information visit us at www.visualconnections.in
